İTÜ Ekrem Elginkan High School

A protocol was signed in June 18 2003 between İstanbul Technical University Rectorship and Elginkan Foundation concerning allocation of a plot within the university land, and construction of a high school building on this plot and its donation to the university by the Elginkan Foundation.

Construction of İTÜ Ekrem Elginkan High School, sod turning ceremony of which was performed in May 8 2004, was completed within 2005. The school was built next to the current kindergarten and primary school in Ayazağa Campus of İTÜ. Project investment cost, project costs, environmental planning and inspection services were approximately 5.7 Million TL including VAT.

There 16 classrooms, 8 laboratories and workshops, multi-purpose hall, guidance and club rooms, management and service sections in the school which has a closed area of 5.266 m2. The school admitted its first students on September 2005.

Handover processes of İTÜ Ekrem Elginkan High School were completed in 27.12.2005 and it as resigned to İTÜ Rectorship.
