Necessary measures are taken to prevent potential accidents arising from process safety; training, awareness-raising, and communication activities increase the awareness of our employees, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
By implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System, we ensure the continuous improvement of our systems through periodic reviews and performance monitoring.
• Working safely is a prerequisite for working at Odöksan.
• All managers at Odöksan are responsible for the occupational health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors under their management or control.
• To achieve our goal of zero occupational accidents and illnesses, risks arising from our operations, new products, processes, and engineering changes are identified and evaluated. These risks are eliminated and/or brought to acceptable levels through ongoing work.
• Occupational Health and Safety Management Programs are established to identify significant occupational health and safety risks and establish targets for continuous improvement.
• Key Performance Indicators are measured and reported regarding Occupational Health and Safety.
• All incidents and accidents that occur during our operations or that may result in injury are investigated, and necessary improvements are implemented to prevent recurrence.
• All employees, contractors, and visitors in our areas of operation are provided with the necessary skills and competencies related to occupational health and safety, and their personal awareness is increased through information and training programs.
• We act responsibly and attentively regarding current occupational health and safety issues, information, and public awareness. We work with all our stakeholders to develop a health and safety culture and improve standards.
